About:
Since completing his fellowship training in 1999, Dr. Poole, his wife and family have called Idaho home. His love for the Idaho outdoors inspires him to help his patients keep active and get back to enjoying the activities that they love.
Experience:
Dr. Colin Poole, MD grew up in South Africa and received a medical degree from University of Cape Town in South Africa. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, which is widely considered one of the premier orthopedic training programs in the country. Dr. Poole was then selected for a one-year fellowship in total joint replacement at the prestigious Scripps Institute in San Diego, California. Dr. Poole is an active member of the American Academy of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS).
