Congratulations to Heidi Abraham, who was recently elected to the board of directors!
Dr. Abraham is an EMS physician in Austin, TX and has previously worked as an ER physician here on the Palouse at Pullman Regional Hospital. She currently serves as the Deputy Medical Director for Austin/Travis County EMS and as the Medical Director for the New Braunfels Fire Department. She is the chair of the Texas Governor’s EMS & Trauma Advisory Council, EMS Medical Director Committee, and has served on the founding Board of Directors for the Texas Chapter of NAEMSP.
Dr. Abraham started her medical career as an EMT before attending Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine, Wright State University Integrated Residency in Emergency Medicine, and finally the EMS and Disaster Medicine fellowship at University of Texas at Houston.
Heidi is a skilled harpist and a lover of good books and creatively-crafted cocktails.
